Upper Key Stage 2
Our Golden Eagles class have been exploring materials and their properties in Science and conducted an investigation to find which materials are good thermal insulators and answer the question, "Which material would keep the water warmest for the longest?"
Our Hippos class have been hard at work with Mr. Snowdon designing and creating their very own carnival masks. They had to find out how to reinforce the mask before decorating them in a variety of colourful and exciting ways. They are looking amazing!
Some of our UKS2 children recently went on a PGL residential at Caythorpe Court. They had a great time taking part in exciting activities including a ziplining, trapeze jumping, riding a giant swing and much more! There are more pictures on the app so you can see exactly what they got up to.
This term's RE is focused on Islam. We have been exploring a range of artefacts from the Islamic faith. The children enjoyed asking questions about the different artefacts and discussing what they were.
For World RE Day, our UKS2 children Christianity, Sikhism and Islam. They went on a journey exploring various aspects of Hajj, a Muslim's pilgrimage to Mecca, through a range of activities.
